deactivated20111210-d asked: hi alex
it's been a long while
but I just wanted to say
that I miss you and I am so happy you got into Syracuse
I know you are going to do so well there and enjoy it.
Go to a few basketball games for me and take tons of pictures :))
You are going to accomplish great things ok.

I'm writing a letter to Buenos Aires.
Not an e-mail, a real letter to be delivered via snail mail.
Why? Because I’ve always found the concept of receiving a mail-letter a hundred times better than an e-mail. It’s a nice surprise, and it could bring a smile if the right message is inside.
It’s something not so commonly done anymore, and interesting every time.

Today, I was notified of NYU’s admission decision: I didn’t get in.
I got the message while I was sleeping after a hard day; I’m sick and feeling horrible, and although today there was no class, we were called in for our grades (All A’s, thank god) and for really draining NHS meetings.
Here’s the thing: I don’t know if it’s the fact that I had already...

Yesterday was our History League Competition, and I was so tired, as soon I arrived, I threw myself on the bed.
Good memories of yesterday: The whole aspect of getting ice cream and then spending an hour at a sweet-looking/feeling bookstore in which I got, finally, my copy of Rayuela (a very old one, too, used as well so I got it for $4). Now I don’t have to read off internet.
I still...

Part of the SGPOY, friend's birthday edition.
Funny thing: I just noticed that most pictures of just us too are spontaneous. All of those spontaneous pictures (meaning, not knowing the picture was being taken) featured us laughing.
I just included the NHS shirts ones because they add more congruency in colors. Call me weird, y’know.

I’ve spent the entire day studying and reading for some competitions this Monday. Tomorrow I have a full day of practice for the English Forensics League. In brief: I have no breather this weekend, to later on start a busy week.
I’m supposed to write a creative autobiography for my creative writing class, which needs to be handed in on Wednesday. Although I have the main idea there, I...

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
My love-life is a mess. I keep it messy, but I’m not complaisant.

Baby pigeon update:
I got the number for Recursos Naturales, called, and asked how to proceed with the poor creature. They told me they have special facilities for different species, including pigeons, which include vets that can take care of the animals until they are stable enough to go back into the wild. They took some information via phone, and a few minutes later, a patrol was parking outside our gate to pick...

For the last few days I’ve been studying non-stop.
This weekend is the annual National Honor Society Intellectual Competitions here in Puerto Rico. I was assigned to take on the Science Team, and when we divided tasks, I would be studying for Chemistry and Physics. Chemistry I’ve yet to work on, but will do tomorrow since it’s just a review, Physics...
