I’m not going to wait for this to be posted in my Ask Box so I can answer it, so here it goes:
10 Facts about my room: It’s currently the messiest it’s ever been. It’s walls are pink (unfortunately). There’s an old computer in an old desk. The same desk has been there before the day I was born. That room previously belonged to my aunt, who moved in with my mother when my parents separated. If you open my closet, the oldest clothing that belongs to me dates back to my 7th grade (2005-2006). The closet has more clothing, which belongs to my aunt and she hasn’t picked up. My room gets cleaned two times a year, but apparently this Summer breaks that record. Half of my closet is for storage. None of the things stored are mine, but the books.
9 Facts about my family: My immediate family is made of my mother, my older brother, my cousin, my aunt, and my grandparents. My parents got divorced when I was in my first grade of elementary school, but they separated before I could even hold memories. My brother is a year older than me. He also has autism. I don’t keep communication with my father or his side of the family. My aunt is like my second mother to me, my cousin my little brother. My grandparents have been there for me ever since I can remember, the longest I’ve gone without seeing them is a week. My family is from Spain and Taínos. My father’s is from Rep. Dominicana and France.
8 Facts about my body: I weigh something like 160 pounds. I do have pretty big bones, but I still don’t like myself when I look at the mirror. When I’m sleepy one of my eyes appears to be bigger than another. I have a physical and emotional need to crack my fingers every few minutes. I’m mostly comprised of muscle, but I’m too lazy to lose weight. I have four piercings. I used to have five, since I made myself a helix one, but it closed due to not using it. I have a funny scar in my knee that came from a summer vacation, and some re-visiting due to games of hide-n-seek.
7 Facts about my childhood: I grew up in politics. I also grew up between women. The only male figure in my life was my grandfather, and he actually influenced my life with his temper and little “manias” we both have. I watched more adult shows than kid shows when growing up. Before having Budzilla, I had four hamsters and a rat, five hamsters, really, if you count my best friend’s hamster that stayed with me for a semester. I really don’t remember much about my childhood most of the time. My longest friendship started when I was in fourth grade, and he was actually my only friend in elementary school.
6 Facts about my home town: It’s the capital city of Puerto Rico. It wasn’t the big city it is now until it merged with Rio Piedras. You can find everything in it. Viejo San Juan is one of the most beautiful places in the world (opinion, not a fact). To its west you can find Guaynabo, to the east Trujillo Alto and Carolina, and to the south Caguas. Its full name is San Juan Bautista.
5 Facts about my bestfriends: My closest friends are three guys. If you combine the first letters of their names, they spell out ‘ALE’ (my name is Alexandra-Marie, and most call me ‘Ale’ for short). All of them are different, even in their moods, which allows me to have different people to talk to, depending on my mood. I usually don’t have to say anything for them to know what goes on. They’re the nicest, humblest, and most adorable people you could ever meet.
4 Facts about my parents: My mom is “my parents”. My mom also could be the biggest annoyance in my world. But also the best. I love my mom, and she’s the best she can be for me and my brother. (I’ll be forever thankful of this.)
3 Facts about my personality: People who don’t know me and dislike me think I’m bipolar, but I just really like to be in control of things. If I’m away from school or business situations, I’m known to be pretty chill and funny. I feel bad if I mess up.
2 Facts about my favorite things: I currently don’t know what my favorite things are. Maybe I have too many favorite things.
1 Fact about the person I like: Untouchable.
